Specific Responsibilities include the following:
  • Follow the company’ s sales strategy by planning customer interface accordingly to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop new relationships by making phone calls, setting appointments and meeting with customers face to face to understand their business needs
  • Specialize in the product/market area of die-cut materials, labels, BSR/NVH applications
  • Continuously look for opportunities based on knowledge of our products and evaluation of customer needs
  • Work closely with the sales team and operations to ensure customer



Job Description:
  • Continuously “ hunt” for new opportunities with targeted accounts and “ farm” active customers with new and engaging information per guidance of Sales Director
  • Refer to Sales Forecast and Plan as the roadmap for Premier sales activity
  • Utilize technical knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to engage and execute on customer sales
  • Facilitate relationships with decision makers within existing and new accounts via phone, email, face to face interaction and client engagements
  • Confer with customers and internal resources to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements based on customer needs and opportunities; explain and demonstrate cost reductions or operation improvements that will benefit the client
  • Provide timely and accurate project management support to ensure that the customer’ s expectations are understood, negotiated, met and/or exceeded
  • Effectively coordinate product design and samples between customer and internal departments including cost estimating and engineering
  • Help determine improvements by analyzing cost benefit ratios of products, supplies, or service application in the customer’ s environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials and service
  • Establish accurate information and maintain necessary sales records including those in CRM system
  • Follow the internal sales process including RFP package, cost analysis, prints, etc.
  • Communicate effectively addressing status of orders and resolution of problems to both internal team and external parties that need knowledge of the information
  • Contribute to business effectiveness by identifying short and long term areas of improvement in relation to product/services to further benefit the customer and business growth
  • Collaborates regularly with all Premier internal departments to ensure effective communication and understanding of the needs of the customer
  • Execute / Implement other responsibilities as assigned by manager

Key Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
    • Planning: ability to think ahead and plan for short and long term goals
    • Project Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions as necessary
    • Experience utilizing ERP system as a tool to complete reporting needs and gain product/customer information
    • Minimum 3 years account management and / or sales experience
    • 2 years in Automotive industry preferred; understanding of automotive process and sales cycle
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and documentation
    • Computer proficiency – strong Excel, PP, Outlook and Word skills
    • Experience with CRM system; Salesforce preferred
    • Ability to set personal goals in conjunction with business objectives and drive to achieve them
    • Effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels of the company, outside vendors, and customers both verbally and in writing

Education:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree Preferred
  • Technical Certifications/Degree desired
